This site is dedicated to the areas first non-club biker group. The Dog Pound is a charitable group of people that love the road, love bikes, love people, and LOVE to have fun! We don't compete for "members", hey, there are no members!  Just locals that join together for rides and fun. You don't join this group, you get "caught" by the dogcatcher!  Watch out, once your impounded, there's no escape!!!! 

We all first got together on a Saturday morning in April 2001 for our first ride. On that fateful day we were enjoying the beautiful weather and mountains when a speeding driver came around the opposite direction and hit our point-man head on. This brought the group together with other bikers in the community and strong friendships were born.  The point-man survived the crash with just a few injuries, so we named him "Lucky Dog."  After that we started naming each other with dog names and over the past few years we've come to be known as The Dog Pound. We are awe struck at the numbers of people that have come to join us in our adventures and are proud of the fact that we accept everyone and anyone on two wheels, from mopeds to Harley's, to become part of something so enjoyable.

This site is pretty new, well sort of, so bear with us as we mess it up even more than it is. We have aboslutely no idea what we're doing so give us a break! 

We'll be adding photo's and whatever else as they come available, so browse around and have a few laughs.  And YES, we are a little odd, maybe even a little weird, but HEY, who isn't !!!
